The truth is, I’ve been toying with the idea of starting a space like this for a while. I’ve always enjoyed writing, but I fell out of the habit amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With my move abroad and the launch of my own studio, I figured—why the heck not start a newsletter to go along with it all?
If we haven’t met yet—hi! My name is Bailey, and I’m a born-and-raised U.S. girl who just relocated to London, UK. I’m an avid cat lover (I have two—feel free to ask about them anytime!), and I live and breathe graphic design like it’s the coffee flowing through my veins. I recently started a studio called Static Cat, and I’m beyond excited to share my experiences in design and studio life, hoping to inspire other creatives to pursue their own passions. My goal is to create a collaborative space where innovative ideas flourish. Working with me means stepping into my world—a place where creativity, laughter, and inspiration flow naturally.
I’ll also be sharing recent thoughts and inspirations in "The Moodboard"—a space at the bottom of each newsletter featuring articles, videos, photos, pins, random ideas, and more. Check out the first edit below!
THE MOODBOARD ⬇
This carefully curated Pinterest moodboard I made recently.
I find most of my inspiration by scouring It’s Nice That and diving into all the stories, highlights, advice columns, and campaign spotlights. My latest obsession? This ad campaign for The Ordinary in partnership with Uncommon.studio—minimalist visuals with a punch! A great read, too.
I had never heard of Creative Lunch Club until I got over to London, but I recently joined and I am super excited to meet other creatives for lunch once a month! I definitely think this one is worth checking out to see if they are in your area. ⬇
Sandy Liang’s Fall 2025 collection just debuted, and wow… the inspiration from her experience as a first-time mom is oozing through every piece. It feels like stepping into one of my middle school diaries. I definitely have a crush on this one. If you want a closer look at these incredible details, this Fashionista article has you covered!
I have also been wanting a knitted bonnet and I am torn between purchasing one or attempted to knit one myself… thoughts?
I’m looking forward to sharing more thoughts, findings, inspiring tidbits, and musings soon.
Until next time,
Bailey
